Very Light Jets came into existence after David Whalley, a musician from Hammersmith was searching for a singer to collaborate with. It wasn’t long until he discovered Lisa Welsh and the pair found that between them they had the secret sauce for making new music: David as the musician and composer and Lisa as the lyricist and vocalist - a real 50:50 partnership. Both Lisa and David have an eclectic taste in music inspired by the likes of Pale Waves, All Saints, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, Carrie Underwood, X Ambassadors and Freya Ridings to name but a few. Their music is aimed to be relatable for their listeners and is always written inspired by real experiences. They specialise in blending multiple genres and this really sets them apart from other bands out there. This is just the beginning.
